Visualization & Presentation of VOTONOSI BRIDGE

The modern Via Egnatia traces the eponymous Roman work. The ancient Via Egnatia started from Byzantium and ended in the Adriatic, in Apollonia (today Durrës). Built in 146 BC by the Roman Egnatio Manlius, from whom it derives its name.

One of the most important technical projects of todays modern Egnatia motorway is Votonosi Bridge that spans the river Metsovitikos
joining together the tunnels of Anthochori and Votonosi.
